Yet another rural area offering panoramic views and historical sightseeing. If you are looking for a property in Loutraki, read on and find out more about it. The remains of ancient Roman Baths on the coastal road to the South-East of Loutraki (Greek “loutro” meaning bath) are the reason for the current name of the area. Loutraki is the 2nd port of the island set on the sides of the hill behind it. It is a traditional settlement which follows strict municipal building code adding to its charm. Land is available but so is property from time to time.
Loutraki is only 3km from the inland Glossa Village, and it is located is to the North – West of the island facing west. This offers fantastic sunsets on the beach or at any location in the village that offers a view. Loutraki port is very much a tourist spot with cafes, tavernas, gift shops, local products, travel agencies and hotels all close to the port. The public transport bus stop is on the square.
