The amazing sceneries at Milia beach and the excellent quality of its waters make it an ideal area to buy a property. So, if you are looking for property close to Milia beach, here you will find out more about it.
Milia beach is at the edge of a pine tree forest at 19km from Skopelos town with a Westerly orientation. It is the widest beach on the island, and a long, white sandy shore stretching nearly a full kilometer along the verdant landscape.
It is often considered the best beach on the island although in high season it can be a little noisy and can have strong winds. One rocky outcrop separates the beach in two; the left side gathers the most people, while the right is quieter.
The beach itself is made up of fine rounded shingles, sand and turquoise waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. It is well organized with sun beds, umbrellas and two beach bars where you can get refreshments and a snack. There is also a tavern close by in the area. It also has a lifeguard which is a plus since the waters get deep abruptly.
Adding to the idyllic scenery, opposite the marvelous beach, is the tiny green islet called Dassia.
Access is gained via a 500m asphalt road leading off the central road and the bus station located on it. For those who choose to get there by personal vehicle, there is a spacious parking area. It is a family friendly beach where you can enjoy magnificent sunsets.
